Dr. Bruce Shields and David Butzu explore the history of worship from ancient Israel to the present in a way that is understandable and helpful to people who plan and lead worship in all sorts of churches and those who are active in church worship ministries.

As Christians we hope that present believers, as well as future generations, will have a deeper understand of God and experience an unhindered worship of our Creator.

Generations of Praise explains how worship has evolved over the centuries in various cultures to help us develop services of worship suitable for congregations of the twenty-first century.
